January Empties

Empties posts in the blogger world are marmite. I personally love them and trust the reviews a lot more than someone who has used the product once or twice! I intend to do these on the last Wednesday of each month! These are a couple of things from the end of last year but mainly used up this month!

Batiste Dry Shampoo 'tropical'

As I am sure you are all aware by now I work nights. By night three I am pretty much entirely made up of dry shampoo and coffee. I really enjoy batiste but to be honest I haven't really experimented much when it comes to dry shampoo! I have a few cans of batiste to use up and then I am going to try out other brands. Any you recommend?

Would I repurchase? Yes but I have no plans to at the moment.

I love me a hot bubbly bath with a good dose of radox and I think this is my favourite scent. There is not really much for me to say about it!

Would I Repurchase? Yes. Always.

Kelp sheet mask

My lovely friend Vicky bought this back from Korea for me ages ago and I have only just got around to using it! It felt lovely and cooling on even if I did look very scary! I'm not sure if it was this mask or just the cold weather but since using it my skin feels overly sensitive so I wouldn't be running to use this again.

Would I repurchase? No probably not

Sanctuary green lemon and orange blossom body wash

I got this in a Christmas gift set last year and it was a bit of an acquired scent. I'm not a fan of musky scents generally but I grew to like it. However at £5.50 for 250ml I don't think it was nice enough for that price when you can get plenty of shower gels for around the £1 mark!

Would I repurchase? No

Twig and dot candle

I can't find this for sale on the Internet anywhere and so I can't link it sorry! It had a subtle woody scent and I really enjoyed it.

Would I Repurchase? Yes. If I could find it and it wasn't overly expensive.

Mitchell and peach shower wash English Garden

This is another one of those things I got in a beauty box! I have so much still to use up! I really liked this scent, I think it had lavender and rose and was really relaxing and felt luxurious. I can't find this online but looking at the brand its not cheap.

Would I repurchase? No probably not.

Soap and Glory Pulp friction

I have such a stash of body scrubs! I think it comes down to the fact that its something I often forget to use but now I am trying to use them more often! This one wasn't too abrasive but still gave you a good scrub if that makes sense! With the signature soap and glory scent I'm sure we all love. I have never been out and just bought this I have always had it in the Christmas gift set that every basic bitch gets at Christmas and actually for £8 I don't think I would necessarily pick it up on its own, but that said its usually on offer!

Would I repurchase? Yes but not at full price.

Is it bad that I don't actually remember where and when I bought this? I think possibly in the House of Fraser outlet. I have a box full of beautiful candles which I barely use. I tend to go through phases. When I was ill at the beginning of December I had them burning all the time but since then I don't think I have lit a single one! Anyway I totally adore this scent.

Would I Repurchase? Yes.

So there you have it lots of empties! I am currently trying to decide the best way to sort through my stash and hopefully get rid of a lot of things I am just hanging on to but not actually using!
